Welcome to the Tabiat Bridge, where ‘Tabiat’ means ‘nature’
in Persian.
The 270m bridge is the largest pedestrian bridge in Iran! Inspired by a bridge on Zafer street, head architect Leila
Araghian oversaw the construction of the Tabiat Bridge between 2010 and 2014. The bridge has three layers, its walking paths are made of
composite wood and its steel alone weighs 2.000 tons! The bridge on the Northern part of Tehran expands over the
Modaress Expressway and connects the Taleghani Park with the Abo-Atash Park. While its official name is “Pole Tabiat” it is also known as
the “Third Symbol of Tehran”. It has also won the Aga Khan Architecture Award
in 2016!

Welcome to the Azadi Tower, a landmark that marks the west entrance of Tehran. The Tower was opened to the public 4 months after it was inaugurated. It was built to commemorate the 2500th aniversary of the Persian Empire. It includes an underground museum, that includes an exhibit of items from the ancient city of Susa. The Azadi Tower is 45m tall, is completely encased in white marble, and it includes 8000 blocks of stone.

Golestan Palace
The Golestan Palace is a complex of palaces, museums, halls
and archives. It includes the Marble Throne, that is made of sixty-five pieces
of marble and the terrace is adorned with paintings, woodcarvings, mirrors and
other architectural wonders.
The palace also has the Pond House, a chamber that has
European paintings and used to be cooled in the summer with streams of water
passing through it.
The Museum of Gifts, is a museum in the palace that exhibits
the gifts fiven to the Qajar kings.
